I recently broke my cell phone does anyone know a textfree or textplus alternative that I could use, maybe from my computer? I want to be able to text my friends while I try to get a new phone. Thanks!!!!!

I'd say try chime, you can text unlimited for free using your computer. you can also connect to facebook chat, gtalk and other ims which is really cool. Its still in 'beta' or something so i had to sign up at chimenow.com/tn and within a couple days they emailed me my invite with all my login information.. hope this helps!!! and good luck with the phone LOL
